Braid Vets Hospital is the ONLY veterinary practice in Edinburgh with VETERINARY HOSPITAL status.

In January 2013, after rigorous independent inspection by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons ensuring that our staff, premises and operating procedures are of the highest standard, we have been allowed to renew our HOSPITAL status for the next four years.

This means that we are THE ONLY practice in town that can provide on-site care for your pet with fully qualified staff present 24hours a day, 7days a week, 52 weeks a year.

Braid Vets are committed to providing the best veterinary care for you and your pets, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in our own hospital premises.
To fufill this we employ the best staff and invest in the most up to date equipment.
We charge fees that are fair to our clients and to our staff, and that enable our continuing development in modern veterinary practice.

We provide health care for dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, other small furries and budgies.

Trust us with your best friend. We have expertise in internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, dermatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, behavioural cases, dentistry, imaging, acupuncture and emergency medicine.
